SUPA MOD takes the standard SUPA circuit and pushes it further with more versatility!

SUPA is based on the rare prototype version of the Marshall SupaFuzz, a later cousin to the MKI Tonebender with a bigger sound, more sustain and a more subdued treble voice and thick midrange cut! SUPA MOD uses the stock Filter and Volume control, and adds a 3 way switch giving you 3 distinct voices to choose from. To the left is the stock SUPA mode with the unmistakable squish and dynamic compression that is synonymous with this circuit. To the right is a MKI mode, with a tight and focused attack and tons of sustain. Center position is the ZONK mode that shaves off a chunk of low end, but gives your notes a sharp stringy attack, a little less sustain but tons of character and 60s psych vibes! The SUPA MOD also includes an internal bias control to dial in the gain and gating levels to your preference. Add in a filter control to roll back some treble frequencies and you’ve got a versatile fuzzy beast full of vintage tones!

Two high gain black glass NOS Philips OC42 and OC43 transistors, and one NKT OC77(CV7007) germanium transistor bring out the best in each of the three modes. NOS Mial, STK and Vishay caps, carbon film resistors, built on custom PCB. Standard nickel silver hammer finish with blacked out Marshall style knobs to match the black glass transistor vibes. True bypass with LED indicator, 9v power jack and internal battery snap are all standard on SUPA MOD.
